Dr. Roberta Winemiller has been the conductor since the spring of 2001. She studied conducting with Frederick Fennel (founder of the Eastman Wind Ensemble) and John Paynter of Northwestern University. She received a Bachelor of Music degree cum laude from Bowling Green State University in Ohio in 1978, a Master's degree in Music Performance/ Conducting at Kent State University School of Music, Kent, Ohio, and a Ph.D. in Music Education at Temple University in 2006. She performs and teaches bassoon and saxophone.
